Need To Vent -- Idiotic Drivers

I was leaving work today, and some kid in a little silver Hyundai decided they were going to be cute and cut right in front of me as I was going through the parking lot.

Probably if I drew a picture it'd help:

Luckily I've got great brakes as this little twerp didn't stop or yield right of way to on coming traffic. Plus he was cutting through a parking lot, and driving recklessly.

Lucky for me, nothing happened... however, I got him on camera, and his plates, car and everything. He's now been banned from the college.

Fine way to start college, eh?

I wonder what his parents are thinking?

Betcha he thought I wouldn't do nothing or I was a measly student... well, he was wrong. Don't 'f with administration.

You caught him on camera? How? Did you seriously install video surveillance crap in your truck?

In fact, we have a different department that handles "IT" stuff...

In all seriousness, I can't for the life of me understand how some of these idiots actually pass the DMV driving test. The written test for that matter. I do believe the DMV driving test has got to be made far more difficult to pass than it currently is. The folks that can't muster the skills to pass after 3 attempts are just going to have to take the bus, bicycle, or walk.

Yeah, screw all those worthless professors, students, researchers, counselors, coaches, etc! College is really all about the guys running wires!

Sounds kind of harsh to me. If every DA driver was banned from college, who would be left? I was that age once and I probably drove like an idiot. Isn't it already bad enough that he has to drive a Hyundai?
Also, I am actually a 31 year old returning to college, and the administration's attitude toward "measly students" really pisses me off.

I can't see where banning him from the college over something traffic-related and this minor does any good? Is it not possible he made a simple mistake? Even considering he did it on purpose, I still think the punishment is WAY out of line. I am currently going to school for a career in the IT field and would hate to think that I would be removed from the school because i cut in front of a staff member in the parking lot
