What's up with all the Silverado ads on this site?

They're really going after us aren't they? I like how they say "America's best truck" since they can't say "America's best selling truck." Heck, they haven't been able to say that for 3+ decades. The proofs in the pudding.
Just wondering if these ads were getting on anybody elses nerves.

The website has to make money to run somehow. chevy pays for advertisments im guessing maybe. unless you wanna start paying a fee? maybe i'm wrong but someone asks this question all the time, they're just there.
It doesn't bother me. I like taking their money to run a Ford site. If the ads really bother you a lot, look into an ad blocker. I have it on my home computer.

Ahh. Im still a youngling I guess. I realize thats how they make money it just seems wierd that thats all i see besides edge ads. I like the broken record pic.
It doesnt bother me that bad. Thats a good point tho about taking their money to run a ford site. Makes it a lot more tolerable.

As was mentioned, these ads are placed by Google and are, indeed, utilized to help pay to keep the servers buzzing along in an air conditioned dungeon.
Chevy (or, as we like to call them, Government Motors) has a very extensive Google campaign underway at the moment. With all the 'keyword' matches that we have on our site (like Ford, Truck, Car, Motor, etc), we're bound to get some of the competitions' campaigns popping up on our site. It's the nature of the beast...
Thanks for the question though -- it's a legitimate one -- but, to continue to keep the bandwidth free, it's a necessary evil.
Thanks,
RP
