It freakin kills me when Eletist Liberals like Tom Brokaw what to hike the Federal Fuel Tax! The average middle class American has a hard time filling the fuel tank, on our truck & the answer is not that we will drive a econo car cause the majority of people who drive a truck need a truck such as me!........Take it to the Polls in 2012!

 

I bought a more fuel efficient vehicle... sadly it only nets 23-24mpg on my daily run to work. the old POS probe did that! hell it hit 30mpg on a freeway trip once, it was freakin cool, especially for v6

 

That econo car crap is OK if you live in a city and have to go through consistent stop and go traffic, but if you live in the country like the most normal Americans do that crap will not work. The bottom line is they want us all to walk. We won't be able to ride horses because they will never pass the yearly Federal emissions inspection.

 

GM is working on mpg projects right now. This tax is only a way for the gov to sell the GM efficient cars.
