Dude, Mark Ingram is money in the bank! Can anyone say back to back titles?! Bama is going to be back next year stronger than ever! BTW the only real reason Texas mounted somewhat of a comeback is because bama took their foot off the gas pedal and was just coasting. Bama threw the ball for a total of 11 times the whole game, well 12 if you count the punter pass. 12 freakin times, which means they ran all over that #1 rushing defense. Colt McCoy is a crybaby whimp. It's the freakin NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, unless your in credical care get your azz out there and play! Heck I remember watchin Byron Leftwhich break his leg and still get out their and lead Marshall to a bowl win. Either way it was a great game, but no doubt once they got that 2 td lead they just coasted the rest of the game untill Ingram scored the real dagger. That freshman QB is going to be REAL good in the future. I mean what he threw 4-5 picks, but 2 came right at the end of the game, and 1 was a bone headed move to try and shovel pass the ball threw a million Bama linemen which was intercepted and ran back for a TD.

Anyone see when they poured the gatorade on Saban? Bahaha classic, they dang near tackled him with that water jug! He was PO'D! But I like Saban, classy guy, hard worker, and knows his stuff. I was sad to see him leave my Miami Dolphins, but now I have the best of both worlds, since I actually like Sparano as well and now I get to see my Crimson Tide win a national championship!

I thought the game was the worst of the bowl games. Neither team played their usual great football. After McCoy got hurt, it seemed like both teams gave up. You almost had to feel sorry for Gilbert, replacing McCoy, he obviously was not ready for that level of play. There is no doubt that Ingram will be one of the best running backs for years to come even after college ball. He looks a lot like Emmet Smith in his style. I think it would have been a different game had McCoy not been hurt. You can only speculate who would have won but the reality is that Bama won and they are on the road to future Championship games. I have a feeling we'll get to see a match up of Texas and Bama again and soon.

As much as I love Ronnie Brown, I'm hoping the Dolphins can somehow draft Ingram next year. But unfortunately that'd mean a long agonous (sp) season for the fins because Ingram will be a top 5 pick. But with Ronnie Brown and Ingram in the same back field it'd be awesome. I also like this Shipley dude, I wouldn't mind seein him in Teal and Orange next year, even though Shipley isn't going to be a true #1 he'll be a dangerous slot reciever and although say Welker is only a slot reciever he is the Patriots leading reciever, despite Moss being #1. So who knows I'm looking forward to the draft. I'd rather see Miami go after either Brandon Spikes (MLB for Florida) or Rolando McClain (MLB for Bama). I can't wait till next years NFL Season, Miami is going to return to the playoffs, if they can get Henne a #1 reciever like Brandon Marshall (hence, hence), and Ronnie Brown can stay healthy, and Sean Smith and Vontea Davis can learn from this year and work hard in the film room this off-season! Yeah its a lot of ifs but Miami is just missing a few pieces or players!

I don't see how McCoy is a cry baby? His arm was numb, he couldn't feel it. Sounds good for anyone else, but a QB. He wanted to go back out, but he attempted a few 7 yd. passes and all of them were wild. So, if he can't throw a 7yd. pass, then he wouldn't of been any help to Texas.

Bama probably avoided the throw b/c they weren't really getting anywhere with them. They were 6/11. So he was just over a 50% pass percentage. Not something to brag about. I don't think Alabama coasted at all. They weren't getting anywhere with the pass, so all they could do was run. Which they did. But, it seemed like they were getting gassed there in the end. They weren't moving the ball much at all. Bama's defense is what saved them in the end. Causing that fumble right there in the last 3 minutes. That quite possibly changed the outcome of the game. How quickly we forget

Ingram nothing. Richardson ran for almost just as much, with less carries. If it wasn't for him, bama would be wearing a different hat. I agree Ingram is good, but people are starting to treat him like tebow. Saying he did it all, meanwhile forgetting the rest of the team.

It was a great ending though. Def. a nail bitter for either side around the end of the 3rd until the fumble at the end of the 4th. I hate Texas, so I was glad they lost. I just wish they lost with McCoy, and not a true freshman. I think the game would of been a lot different with that. Guess it's time to start watching more NFL. Then get ready for the long months ahead, waiting for the season to start back up.

It doesn't matter. He was more concerned about his NFL draft status than leading his team. He could have at least came out for a series and tried to give it a go, even if they used little screen passes or dump it off the the back.

Richardson is good, but it isn't an arguement who is better, Ingram is better.

How can you say they weren't getting anywhere with the pass? You attempted ONLY 11 PASSES! That isn't anything. Bama's gameplan was to run the ball. It always has been. Run the ball and play tough nosed defense, which is exactly what they did. Bama doesn't rely on the pass, but they attempt more than 11 passes. Bama was just riding along there once they grabbed the lead and was just playing conservative ball. They weren't trying to run up the score.

Just my perspective but everyone has different perspectives on how the game went.
