This trailer had brakes on it too and they worked pretty good. But that's prolly 80% of what stopped me cause the brakes on my truck aren't exactly the best. Gotta love the old drums in the rear.
The trailer was probably helping stop the truck too...

What gears do you got in your truck?

Here's one that isn't terrible looking. It's also a V10 not a 5.4.

Well... figuring it's got 29 gallon tank... you are looking at probably 6 mpg at best... so about 150 miles on a tank... roughly... and that's probably with the low fuel light blaring you in the face.

I could burn through that tank in like an hour and a half... haha

What a waste...

From my grandpas Super Duty with a V10 I've come to realize that V10 doesn't mean V block 10 cylinder. It means Virtually 10MPG. It's got a 32 gallon tank and you can go 320 miles before it's on E.

It doesn't matter if it's pulling itself or pulling a house it gets 10mpg. It has 4.30 gears in it though. I'm hopin he gets rid of it in a few years so I can buy it.

I got 401 miles out of my last tank I have a 25 gallon.

I would use the whole tank from that truck though in a 2 days... easy.

I get about 225 out of my 16 gallon. Takes about 2 days between fill ups.

That is what can be good about those things. Nothing will slow them down, but the gas

I've been drivin my truck for almost 3 years so I've gotten used to it and don't feel like a kid in a candy store when I drive it anymore. Well a few months ago I drove the Super Duty and couldn't believe those 2 extra pistons made that big of a difference. I was really impressed with how well it ran and made me want it 10x more. He got it new in 01 and I remember when I was little he couldn't go anywhere without me goin with him cause I wanted to ride in it because it was big.

Now, 9 years later he can't go anywhere in it without me goin with him because I wanna ride in it cause it's big.

I see lots of 5.4 Lariats. They want the luxury but not the engine.
