my 19 year old brother just went through a battle with testicular cancer and chemo and whatnot so I know what shes going through... it takes a tough person to get through it

 

LT, you don't know me but I lost my wife to cancer 2 years ago, she fought the fight and I would like to say that hearing someone who won warms my heart. I know what you have been thru and want to wish you the best, good luck and hang in there.

 

Thanks everyone and thank you Shifty. I know I have a little ways to go, but so far everything is looking good. It's been an extremely tough road but will be worth it when I make it through everything. Thanks for all your kind thoughts.

I can't believe that for as much as i am on this site i missed this thread and now that i read it, It appears many many others of us have missed it also. LT has been a staple here and my friend for many years and i cannot believe we as a collective group either missed this thread and or just did not take the time to respond to it. Under 15 posts come on here are you kidding me??

I would like to apologize for missing this and not responding to LT in her time of need. While we all take our health for granite we all need to step back and be grateful for our own health and let others know we care about them when they are ill. It can be a turning point for a person to know they have the support of us all here at F-150 Online as there are many thousands of us and a kind word or two from us all can build a thick wall of confidence to aid her in her battle. LT i wish you nothing but hope in your battle and i know how strong a person you are and you will overcome all odds.

I've seen this thread, in fact,- when shifty posted it. Didn't know what to say, still don't. I guess I can just post. A friends wife, actually I met him through her; her being whom I went to school with. Without any details, it was a terrible thing to go through, for the both of them. - I've never seen that kind of will, strength it took to carry on in life. There's NO WAY I could have. I tend to steer clear of things I can do nothing about. I can support, but it's just not enough, you always want to do more and can't.

I'm by no means the best at this sort of thing. However, I feel you should know. Because there wasn't allot of replies, doesn't mean you weren't in our prayers. I know you were and still are.

as a few of you know my dad died from cancer so i take LT's battle to heart and support her in every way i can.

We all know you can beat this LT out of everyone i know i know you can beat this.

I'm glad you are overcoming LT. I did see this thread, but didn't realize what it was about. My prayers are with you and your continued recovery, emotionally and physically.

Hey LT, I'm glad to hear you're doing better. Here's a wish that it's all up hill from here. I know you've probably got a few more steps to go before the fight is "over" but I have faith you'll breeze through those after the good fight you've put up over the past months.

So, I raise a glass to you, and one for the man I know has been pulling for you from the other side. I'm sure he's been with you through it all.
