You couldn't catch me dead in a prius. What a joke seriously. As for electric power and trying to save the earth from global warming, guess what its all fake. The big political people like Al Gore make all the money.

It takes more energy to make a Prius than it does to drive an early '90s F150 with no cats and running rich.

Dunno if people have figured that out yet.

Yeah theres a thing going around that says by the time a prius is made and flown around the world and what not. you could have driven a hummer H1 for 100,000 miles and not caused as much pollection as it take to just make a prius!!!!

The entertaining thing to me about these high and mighty Prius drivers is the fact that sure they use less gas; but the batteries contain so many foul chemicals that it essentially negates any supposed benifit to driving one. Not to mention the above. At least they're conserving gas for me and my F150 bretheren to use...

lol not. bunch of robots putting the truck togther. have the motor shiped from windsor or romeo and put it togther and bam!

a prius on the other hand. goes from a plant here. the motor is made in germany flown to a plant here. the batts. are made in canada the plant is so toxic no plant life at ALL grows within 5-10 miles of the plant it self.

By the time you use all that jet fuel and kill the envierment in canada you could have driven 100,000 miles in an H1 hummer DIESEL and still killed less of the earth.

Those robots use a lot of energy. Not to mention all the parts shipped from Mexico and all the other suppliers. They are shipped by train and truck.

The amount of energy used to make your truck is not that much less than the Prius and you will use more than enough to make up for the difference over the life of your truck.
The Prius is not perfect but it is a step in the right direction.

What do you think of the Ford Hybrids?

Actually funny you mention diesel...

You can safely breath diesel smoke in... it's been researched and breathing in that belched out smoke from your neighbor's 2000 7.3l TD F-350 with Staxx and a Banks tuner on level 5 is better than the so-called "clean" exhaust from a properly running 2009 F150.

In fact, I purposely love the smell of fresh-burnt diesel... just something about it attracts me to it...
