Lol, i'm glad someone here can empathize with me. The leather in hers seems to be better than mine. The seat is more comfortable anyway. 10k off is a great deal you got on yours. We only got 5500 off this one.

it is just an illusion cause there is not torque management on the chebby

It's only an 02 but has 125,000 miles... 4 more payments and it's paid off (finally). I really have no complaints, it's a great truck. I hope to drive it a few more years after it's paid for... just planning ahead. Heck, i may hate the new GMC when it comes time... but who knows..

The new gmc's and chevy bodystyles kinda throw me off a bit, I like the gmc one alot more than the chevy but still I dont see why they are so bulky in the body with huge wheel wells and tiny tires that stick in 2 inches?? they remind me of a really jacked person in the upper body but with chicken legs.

They look like one of those trucks that can drive on train tracks. Maybe that's where they got the idea at.

This is how I feel about mine. It has been paid for for a very long time now, it only has 83,xxx miles, and I love it. So I don't plan on getting a new truck anytime soon.

Well here's the deal. AT MOST i'd get 3-4 more mpg if I re-gear. I put 600 miles a month on my truck. At 4 extra mpgs I would get 100 more miles per tank. So, at my current rate, I would get a "free" tank every 1.5 months. It costs $55 to fill it up. So, I would save $55 8 times per year = $440. $1500/$440 = 3.4 YEARS to break even on a re-gear. NO THANKS.

Regearing will also help save you transmission and make your engine not have to work as hard. Depending on what type of terrain you drive in. I still dont think ford gears these trucks correctly from the factory. If you orderd your truck and it come with 31 or bigger, it should have come with 4:10 without some special tow option. When I made the switch I could not belive I was driving the same truck and so far the mileage has stayed the same.

40k on a truck? That's insane! Especially for a GM product. Good luck.

So what, It's a damn nice pick-up.

Love the white pearl colour. I'd drive it!

Also like the GMC front end better then the Chebby.
