The Tiger has class in every situation

He may throw a club sometimes. But are there many of us that haven't?

Tiger Woods has Class, even when the wolves are on his ***.

Classy... yes. I doubt that anyone will dispute that but, this entire situation is very fishy. His publicist is earning his/her money with this one...

Let's see... his wife beats him up, scratches his face up, chases him out of the house with a golf club, crashes the back window out making him wreck, and then gets pulled out of his SUV in a narcotic haze...

Hard to put a spin on this one! I like how he says his loving wife was the first person there to help him out. She was the first on there because she was chasing him down the driveway with a golf club!! He's lucky she didn't try to finish him off.

I've been in arguements before, and leave a little rubber on the asphalt.Hasn't everyone. I never wrecked doing it.
Maybe he was jacked up. But he has been acused of adultry on a world scale. Hell hath no fury ya know. Tiger has never been one to just screw up, or did I just miss when he did.

The press keeps hammering on where he was going at 2:30 a.m. I fail to see how that is anyone's business but his own. What difference does it make? I go places frequently at that time. When we go to a late movie, we don't get home till 1:00 or 1:30 and I walk the dog at 2:00 or 2:30.

If he broke a law, then fine, charge him, otherwise, leave him alone. I'm not a Woods fan, but he has my respect for his accomplishments and I very much respect his right to stay quiet about it.

Oh, and Tumba, in my many rounds of golf and hours of practice, I have never thrown a club. LOL.

Tiger woods has been a "chosen" one since he came on to the world stage. He was set up as a role model and ambassador for golf. Since he was annointed the media has coddled him. They don't show him when he throws temper tantrums and acts like a idiot; because it might tarnish his image. He repeatedly curses and acts like a child while he is playing... no big deal to me, but it is when kids are watching and looking up to him.

He is an amazing athlete, but the media love affair isn't helping him here.

You haven't ever gotten that frustrated playing golf. I didn't even throw clubs, but I never had a bunch of money and feeding my family riding on it.
I think he is a good role model. Also the press looks the other way for alot of athletes until they just bring it on themselves.

Well he's not doing his reputation any favors by dodging the questions. Almost like he's playing like a politician.

But up to this point, what has he ever done to be ridiculed by the press?

I don't understand how that has anything to do here with what's going on, or not going on I should say.

I play golf a couple times a month... every week when the weather is nice. I never yell F*&^, throw clubs, or get pissed off enough that I "lose control", but that is just me. I can control my emotions enough not to act like an child. You would think that knowing there is a mic on you recording everything, you could control your emotions enough not to run a string of curse words together.

Not taking anything away from the guy's accomplishments, he is amazing. But he is feeling the heat now and it seems he's not used to it.
