True, but he was sayin' if it were between Hillary, Obama and McCain he would have voted for Hillary, Obama and McCain (in that order).

That's all.

But who cares what a lunatic thinks?

exactly...in the grand scheme it doesn't matter what he thinks anyhow.

he contradicts himself...he says " hilary beat out O he would rather have her, and he might even voted her over mccain, then he goes back and says O over mccain.

He's an entertainer imo.

In otherwords, this is about Glenn Beck and it is YOU who doesn't get it. Like him or not, that's what this thread is about.

I went to HS school with the guy and I will tell you on no uncertain terms, he is not the patriot he pretends to be. It's all about him, not his country.
You are a wise person. Or so you might think.

The thread is about the "many takes" on Beck. It's about perodies and skits. It's about a few opinions of the guy. Opinions that not only attempt to discredit Beck, but also the millions of people who have stepped to the front to say that they aren't going to continue to sit by while our government shreads our Constitution.

Or, maybe you're right. I just don't get it.

Hey, good for you. You went to high school with Beck. You're the same person you were in high school? You have all of the same ideas, opinions and visions? I know that I've changed a whole lot from the time that I was a teen ager. There's been a lot of learning and growing over the past couple decades. I would guess that this is the same for most people. Perhaps even Beck. Maybe not you though.

I would call Beck a 'liberal' in its classical meaning.
Did you even READ the quote I posted & harley ref'd?

Oh, and he wasn't a Morman when I knew him.

He converted to Mormanism because (his words) "they looked soooo happy and I wanted to be happy too!" Another example where it's all about him.

Your statement makes no sense.

I vote on principles and it just so happens I stay within my party lines while doing so. Does that mean I can't think for myself?

It was re: his "lesser evil" statement. There is always a non-major party option.

I see your point and understand it, but voting like that doesn't really help, not unless there is a ton of tide on their side. Otherwise their vote is meaningless.

i.e. Ross Perot. He changed the outcome of 92 election. McCain would've had a strong outcome if everyone that strayed from the major parties voted. The libertarian movement has grown a lot/again as of late.
