I also think the second pic shows a longer tail than a bobcat. sure you can only see the end but it looks to me that it goes down then back up.

I don't know but about a year ago on my way up to KC a cougar ran out in front of me on a four lane highway so I know their here and their freakin fast

Yea they are here. I just don't know why the MO dept of Conservation is always denying it.

I don't have any question in my mind that these are pics of a cougar. I'm 100% on it and I can't really see how anyone would confuse these pics with a bobcat or anything else really.

It just seems the the MO Dept of Cons. is trying to do a cover up for some reason.

I don't know why they'd cover it up unless they don't want to scare a lot of people. The second pic kinda looks like a bobbed tail though. IDK. Maybe the Dept of Cons. will tell you next that we don't have black bears either.

NC DoW was being blamed for all the coyote suddenly appearing in NC. Supposedly "Taking care of the deer over-crowding". The population can grow without being "reintroduced"

Just remember the DoW is as organized and informed as any other gov't agency.

no. maybe im seeing things. in the second and third pic it looks like there is another one about the 04.

heres the first pic sharpened up a little bit
