As in household cat, bobcat, cougar????

You sure it's not a gray fox?

Hard to tell but its either a Raccoon or a Ground Hog its at 6 O'clock right in front of the pine tree.

ChrisT 11-05-2009 04:34 PM

Yup, looks like some type of big cat to me, especially in the first one.

I just saw it and that my friend is a Cougar and its hunting off of your bait pile.

ChrisT 11-05-2009 04:39 PM

I certainly would not want to run into them in the woods, that for dang sure! They look hungry.....

efuehrin 11-05-2009 04:42 PM

My friend got these off his camera Monday night. Showed them to the local conservation agent and they are telling him that they are bobcats.

I say BS. The rumor mill around says that the MO Dept of conservation released some cougars to repopulate and help keep the deer population down.

they deny it and say there are no cougars in MO.

ChrisT 11-05-2009 04:44 PM

Yeah, those looking nothing like bobcats. The more I look at that first pic the more I see cougar. When you first posted this, I was looking for bigfoot. :ll:

They are here in Michigan and have been for a while I hit one with my truck in 98 and we just had two confirmed sightings in the Eastern U.P. over the last month. There was also one in town last fall and its picture was taken by a ATM camera that it walked by down town.
