One less Deer in the world

nailed a Deer in the fog yesterday morn. With the lift, I whacked it between the tow hooks right at the lower bumper opening. It didn't seem too bad, but I discovered the right side was pushed back about 1 inch and my passenger tire is rubbing. Launched the deer up and over a fence. It was dead on impact. Didn't even feel it hit really, heard it, but as sturdy as our trucks are, not much impact vibration. The truck is headed into the body shop today, as there are bent brackets and bumpers is pushed into the frame. We will see how much damage they find behind the bumper.

That sucks I had one run into the side of my truck right between the doors so there was no damage except a scratch on the bed side where the hoof hit. I am going to buff the scratch out this weekend.

I was on Garwood east of 95. There has been tons of them moving around the last month. One of the ladies that works for me totaled her little car on one yesterday. She had to wrestle it off of her car, as the horns were locked into her front end.

Been thinking about upgrading to a fog bumper. Actually glad I couldn't decide on a light bar and fogs cause those would have been toast too..

well, if it helps, think of it this way:

if you were in a Govn't Motors truck you'd probably be dead right now...

Yeah Sure ford's are safe trucks but no way that would just be on a GM/Chevy.

Also, the deer didn't jump on that truck. The car in front of the truck hit the deer, sending it up into the air and onto the truck.

I can picture a deer flying end over end like a foot ball going through the uprights for a field goal

glad your truck fared out pretty well
