TV Commercials that lie to us...

I saw that commercial for the Samsung washer where a kid balances stuff on top of it, while it's in "spin mode".....as the camera backs away....look closely ....there's no clothes in it!!
Of course it's going to be smooth and quiet empty!...Let's see how it does loaded.
Have you seen other deceitful ads? Let's get a list started........

Chevy's marketing campaign was one of the worst ive seen in a long time. First they tried to badmouth everything about other companies instead of pointing out the good in theirs. But the deceitful part was that they compared they're top of the line truck to the standard v6 in every other company. Remember the "good luck being a trucker" line.

I agree. Chevy's new ad campaign is downright pitiful. Their company is such **** that they have now resorted to flat out lying. "Put any of our cars up against the competition. The Chevy wins" WTF?

The worst commercial that I have ever seen lie to me is the Proactiv acne treatment commercials... they lie so badly because I know of many people who used that junk showed me that it never worked and actually made them look worse when using it in accordance with the manufacturers prescribed instructions. Mind you both men and women...

good ive been wanting to rant about the GM commercials

seriously, they get better gas milage than any of those cars? a friend of mine has a 2005 cobalt and gets 27mpg, my mama has a 2006 2.4VTEC accord and gets 34mpg my grandma has a 2006 camry 4cyl and gets 32mpg my sister has a 2003 camry v6 and gets 26mpg

not only that one theres more i, of course, cant think of any right now! but they are ALL BS.

the full size truck commercials to, ford 5.4=21mpg, the GM 5.3=21mpg (best in class) and the hemi gets 20

ummmm no, 5.4's get around what...16. my buds dad has a new 5.3 with digital MPG and its around 15.3 most ofthe time, hemis HA my buddys 2008 5.7 gets 14.

and remember the turdyota tundra commercials when they were pulling the ford, chevy, and dodge across the parking lot. the NLS ford, the non posi Gm and dodge all "one wheel peelers" probably not even 8 cylinders

Everyone of Billy May's commercials, not to stomp on a dead mans grave but the magic "scratch removers" I don't believe a single infomercial.

I laugh at those too, but Ford's 21mpg claim is for the 4.6L with all highway mileage. GM's hybrid Sierra just barely beats 22 highway.

and for the Tundra commericals, those were the worst! The Ford was a 4x2 4.6L V8 and the tundra is of course the 5.7L V8 4WD... pityful

I concur with this. That's why Ford is whooping butt right now compared to the other makers. They don't bash Chevy or Dodge in their commercials like they use to. instead they state why they think they are better, and let the customer decide.

But Chevy, however, has resulted to straight calling out the other companies when they are the ones with their stock frozen at $0.75, and owned by Nobama......

Guess he can't "change" them either.

In the Chevy truck commercials they always drop heavy objects into the bed. In one of the most current they drop a pallet of bricks into the bed. I would really like to see the truck drive away from that impact. Almost makes me want to buy a Chevy just so I can do what they show in the commercial, then sue them for false advertising.

hahahaha!!!

that would be awesome. imagine being a chevy stock holder and waking up to that story on CNN. i bet you those bricks would be popping out of a place where the sun dont shine!

also, the ad on this site for Sylvania. as much as their products do work, the picture that is "before" and "after" is just a regular picture with the exposure overtuned to make it look brighter.
