Way to much rain inbetween. Had to cut out one side and fill on the other side. Came out okay but could have been better..

Not bad. Man you got that equipment on the cheap. I wanted to rent a bobcat and the estimates where 300 per day. Screw that!!!

Not trying tobe negative. It's hard to tell from the pictures. Did you fill in the drainage ditch alongside the driveway your track was sitting in pic 1? If so,dig trench and lay down some PVC pipe. Otherwise it will erode, I think across your drive way. hard to tell drainage from pictures. But it does look like a good clean job.

Good eye.Where i cut into the bank on the right of the machine i made a drainage ditch all the way around there and connected it to the one i removed and filled in. I used a friends laser level and it has fairly good drop around my cutout to the other end. Water drains good so far.

Hey Bucky how hard was it to get the hang of that machine?
I've been thinking of renting one to clear some land in the back, and they want a lot of cash for rental with an operator.

Can I pull out small trees with that?
Habs

Nice job btw

Did you use your plow truck to spread the gravel around?

There isn't much that wont move with that machine. Practice in a wide open area and dial 811 before you dig. (Good idea even if you're not digging)

Habs, it was a learning process for sure there are so dam many ***** and petals but after an 1hr or so i was doing okay. I spread the gravel with the bucket on the backhoe as best possible then i used a drag that i had made for my cub cadet and simply drove around to fill in most of the low spots and it worked well. The plow was just to clumsy going forward but in reverse it worked somewhat well. That backhoe will pull the frame from under a Chevy without a sniffle it is one bad azz machine. If you look close at the pics you will see trees on the right i pulled out and one dead one on the left. I simple dug under them and gave them the heave hoe.. I would think that machine would yank out a 75 year old tree quite easy... If your removed and clearing land then maybe a small dozer is the way to go.

Thanks Bucky,

It's on my list of things to do 'eventually', I was thinking about the dozer before but when I saw your results I had to ask.
Again, great looking job.
