Bald Eagle Craftsman
Bald Eagle Craftsman
This dude is seriously talented and dedicated!
Amazing! This guy creates bald eagles out of feathers from other birds! Turkey, geese and ordinary chicken feathers are all he uses! It is illegal to possess a single eagle feather in the U.S. He irons, trims and shapes each feather! He uses feet and beaks molded and cast from real bald eagles! He places each individual feather by hand!
Each eagle is banded with a numbered federal eagle leg band.
Here is the final product . . . simply amazing!
Check out his web-site! He re-creates all types of birds at his 19th Century (1800s) log cabin.

WOW. Those look so real. He is one talented, and patient person to place every feather in like that. I am not that patient. Two thumbs up dude.
From his website: "Jim's sculptures start at $4,000 and go up depending on the base and if you add fish, a duck, or habitat."

That kind of work takes an "Extreme" amount of dedication and love, to achieve those kinds of results! I applaud him for trying to symbolize the true spirit of our country! He obviously has a great love for animals, and Bald Eagles in particular, and it shows!
