"We operate this company on wishful thinking." WTF?!!! - Og

 

"is it going to hurt it if we keep running it like that?" (high pressure diesel fuel inj pump flopping around)
"its 'distressed' apples" (apples were mush before they even made it out of the bins)
"we plugged the decanter up on tank bottoms three times last night"
"the 400 horse motor threw flames, lets try starting it again"

i've heard plenty, some have a back story that would have to be known first.

 

I work at Target and we use walkie talkies... one of the tool bosses was calling for a girl in the clothing department and no one answered... so she starting calling for Helen Keller instead of the girl's name.

I have more, but like Klitch too time consuming to write and you would need to know the back of the story

 

"They just got a check three weeks ago, now they want another one!"

 

"With our new sales reps and the 2 new managers we added, we'll have this department turned around 360 degrees in no time"

... and I have to report to this guy.

 

"Yes, we are losing money on ever sale. But we're going to make it up in volume".

 

A buddy's old boss:
