Brand loyalty
Brand loyalty
Ok guys an gals out there are you brand loyal to the vehicle you drive?. Myself I have only driven Fords my whole life. They have just given me great service an little problems over the years so I keep driving them. They have earned my loyalty. How about you you?
No loyalty here! The only thing I try to do is keep it the good ol USA. Although that went out the window when I purchased my first Toyota product Saturday (09 Camry). From what I'm hearing it may be made here in the states though.
I have owned a Dodge, Ford, GMC, and a Chevy. Out of all of them, I have never had any problems with my Fords. GMC, tranny went out. Dodge, emission control system caught on fire. Chevy, slave cylinder keep going out. So Ford is my loyalty.
I have had them all at one point or another. Some are better than others but I am not loyal to just the one brand. I am not crazy about any of the new Dodge/Chrysler cars and trucks. I would not buy any of those anymore. My Ford truck has been good so far but I hardly drive it. Currently I have 2 Fords a Chevy and a Toyota.
I used to be a Chevy guy until I drove an 05 F150 4x4 SCAB that my dad picked up for a company vehicle for one of the guys in the office. That and my friend owns the Ford dealer here in town helps with my brand loyalty quite a bit because if I have a problem I know its going to get fixed and we have purchased 6 vehicles from him and I sold two more to family members for him.

I've had ford, chevy and dodge, the ford's have really been standouts in everyday use. I always take care of them and they have never done me wrong. There are some really good imports out there, but the country's that want to flood our markets with there products but won't take U.S. goods really gripe me, even if there made here all prophets go over seas, and stay there. oops sorry, my gripe. I love my f-150, it's part of the family
No Brand Loyalty here but I do love the direction that Ford is going in. I go with what I like at the time I'm making my purchase. If I had to purchase a car today it probably would be the Ford Taurus SHO b/c I love sooo much about it.

No brand loyalty here either. I drive what looks good, runs good and is the best bang for the buck. I currently own a Ford Truck, Pontiac Grand Prix and a Yamaha.
I do agree, the Ford line is looking good. Too bad I feel the opposite about the GM line as a whole.

I started driving GM vehicles and had many, mostly chevys, until about 1997 when my company started using Ford as fleet vehicles and that qualified us for the x-plan. I decided to try a Ford based on price alone. It turned out to be a better product than I thought and I have never looked back since. We have had a few fords now and they have all been good vehicles.
I have no brand loyalty - I judge each individual vehicle on its merits and its problems. I didn't buy my truck because it was a Ford, but I have no regrets. I bought it (used) because it served my needs, nothing was wrong with it, and the price was right - and it had a very good reliability rating. I plan on driving it till the wheels fall off, then put the wheels back on and drive it some more.
This is my first truck. Brands of cars I have owned:
Chevy
Chrysler
Ford
Datsun (Nissan)
Toyota
Subaru
Triumph
BMW
Volvo
Pontiac
Mercury
