More lala in LaLa Land

Seems the city council in their infinite wisdom has decided that to stop graffiti, all new homes must have a graffiti proof coating.

Where do you get this so called "graffiti proof" coating?

Its is called a sacrifical coating, you need to reapply it when you scub off the graffitti. It makes it easier to clean by not allowing the paint to adhere as well, but will not stop the urban artwork from going on the wall. It is sold in paint stores and is applied the same way. We have it on a construction wall in a site I work at in the Bronx.

This coating reminds me of the Get Smart episode where Control was testing thier "grafitti proof wall". So the kid sprays the wall with paint and wall responds by spraying back paint on the kid. Classic

Personally, I feel, if caught they should be required to lick off the paint. Probably would never do it again.

I like what Poway CA does - if a minor is caught tagging, the parents have to come clean it up.

Now THAT'S a great idea! Even better than breaking the tagger's arms, which I thought was a good idea too.

Or even better...

Do like what they did in my area...

Some kids tagged the side of a building, they made the parents work for the city's trash collection for a week.
