Big expensive hunk of metal. Honestly. The recoil idea? WTF? Are weapons recoil so bad on the shoulder you need a big *** compartment on the weapon to hide it? Although the claim is muzzel rise. I watched other videos and seen muzzle rise in each one. I don't see a true improvement for the price. That weapon looks like a bus. 1800 base price tag? DAMN! 45Cal ? Uh... expensive ammo for a rifle and also what would you use 45cal for besides defense? The claim is it stops upward motion from fire with the super v bullcrap. I've shot many weapons with "recoil" and no super v blah blah and had very little muzzel climb. It's called training. And, I really cant believe how bulky it is, Christ! The 30rd mag is an extension to a glock 21 mag. What if you dont own a glock 21? Stuck with 13 rounds?
In the video at 4:40 the recoil on that guy looks pretty bad. Shakes his chin fat and body. I don't see any improvement over say a m4 carbine.
I'll stick with my 1200 buck m4 with pic rails, laser sites, acog, and so on with great accuracy.
But, enjoy the weapon, seriously.

Honestly, I cant see how you can compare it to a m4 . And you only have 1 m4 . Well, I've got 3 . And, Couldn't see buying another unless it was in 308.
- Rock River Tactical Entry
- Rock River Elite Comp
- Smith & Wesson M&P 5.45x39
Wouldn't make since to own X mag when you don't own X weapon. So you'd have to purchase a glock 21 mag to work with this weapon. Those mags aren 't cheap. Maybe if you have money to throw around, it isn't. Compared to a 7 dollar 30rd m4 mag.
How can I compare an M4 to this weapon? Easy, they're both weapons, both semi and fully auto. Both "carbines" if you will. I can go on forever. Whether I have 25 or 1, what's the difference? Are you proud you have more than someone? Still doesn't make a point, at least I fail to see it.
I am glad you actually own a real rifle. I am proud of you!
But you failed to introduce the other arguments I made. Like size, recoil or as they put it upward motion from muzzle fire. Also, price, did I mention the size?
That and the barrel looks like a huge silencer and I assume there is no rail system for it besides on the rear receiver if it actually has two receivers?
Over all it's a disgusting looking weapon to me. But, that's my personal opinion. If I were trying to be tactical, I'd hate to have it, more over because of its obscene size and lack of front rec rail system.
Also, with the front site actually so close to the rear, it does obscure sighting. Google for more info on why most rifles and handguns have a rear and front aligned sight with the front at the tip of most barrels.
The 45 round would be horrible for distance but devastating for close range. To each his own on that theory. Can't really say anything on this topic.
And, although you use 45 ammo already, compared to 5.56/223 is a lot pricier. Especially when you're spraying 200 (or whatever) rds a minute down the range.
Again, enjoy the weapon when you get it.

I know it's a revolutionary design, but know one will adopt it. How much is it going to cost you, if you're actually serious.

Kriss Super V
I own the CRB/SO and i love it. It breaks down fully in about 5 secs, it has 3 major moving parts (all substantially constructed), nice rail/tac system, folding stock, light weight, virtually no barrel rise, extremely accurate, a heavy round, and its a joy to shoot. I purchased two 30 rd G21 mags with loader for around $60. There is a felt recoil but it is far different than the recoil of anything Ive shot before. It completely reinforces shooting position and aids in accuracy.
ARs and the Kriss are apples and oranges. Im not a fan of the basic AR platform so Im not the best person to weigh in on that debate anyway.
I recommend it to anybody that can get it.

Great first post rudeboy, if thats your real name.
That gun looks uncomfortable, and awkward. Gonna have to agree with Mosh on this one. I'll stick to the M4. The recoil on them isn't that bad at all either. Like Mosh said, in that video, the weapon still seemed to have a fair amount of kick. For close quarters, it looks helpful, but other then that, I'll choose elsewhere.

I look at gun buying as an investment. I love guns and most of what I have has appreciated well past any stock market or CDs. Yer choice of this weapon in my opinion, is that you're going to take a beating if you ever decide to unload it. You're fishing in a small tank as not many people out there are going to pay near what you are for a short range weapon. Frankly, if you showed up at my place wanting to hunt with it, you'd be asked to leave...and there would not be another invite. If you showed up with it and just wanted to roll cans around over at the range, I'd bring ammo and help you smoke it up. But I really feel like this weapon is an answer to a question nobody asked as are so many of the newer guns and cartridges. But if you like it and it's yer style of gunnery, what difference does it make if anybody likes it or not. As long as it's yer money and yer happy- screw everybody else.
Kriss is now been converted by TDI to a SBR. (short barreled rifle) Actually, the process has been completed its just in between TDI and my class 3 dealer.

If your just looking to add to your collection, then great buy its very unique and not many people will have ever seen or heard of it. If your using it for CQB then it should also be a good gun for that, from what I have seen muzzle climb on the kriss is much less than that of an mp5 and your using a 45 vs 9mm. I don't think the gun is as versatile as an m4 but I do believe it does what it was built for well.
