USC 13 Washington 16!!

I wonder if USC will actually drop out of the top 10? I'm sure the polls will find a way to keep USC in the National Title game.

Yet another loss to an unranked team.

USC continues to lose ball games to unranked opponents; yet they are always hyped up as the best team in the country every year. I guess there is always the Rose Bowl...

Yeah, maybe we can get to see a rematch of USC vs. Ohio State. The first game was so exciting.

Amen brother. This has become a regular trend from USChoke.

Washington didn't even win a game last year and they come out and beat USC. I am not a fan of either, but it was nice to see them drop one to an unranked team.

As I predicted, USC is already back up to #7 in the polls. Ahead of quite a number of undefeated teams. They lost to Washington... SERIOUSLY. USC is well on their way back to number 1. Why isn't Auburn ranked above them? It's very diffcult for a team to pass another one in the rankings unless they lose another game. So all the one loss teams below USC will not pass them unless they have another loss; which I think they will.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see what the polls do with the team that loses between Florida and LSU. Will they drop below other one loss teams like Ohio St and USC?

Boo freakin' hoo. It's all about strength of schedule, and Auburn hasn't played a ranked team... yet. there is more to rankings than just wins and losses, that's why USC if above Auburn. Cincinnati is undefeated, but there is no way in ---- that they should jump USC, especially with wins over Rutgers, S.E. Miss State, and Miami (OH). with that said, if Auburn plays well in the later and harder part of their schedule, you'd have a stronger argument. Now, however, your argument is weak IMO

On an aside, have you watched Washington play or are you just basing your statements on last year? I hope not. UW gave Notre Dame a great game last week, they are definitely not the doormat of the Pac as they were last year.

If it's about strenght of schedule then USC wouldn't be ranked. They lost to an unranked team. Washington has 2 wns this year... Ole Miss lost to South Carolina; another unranked team, and dropped to #20. Just an observation.

I still think USC will lose again and make it a moot point anyway. Time will tell.

well, to our credit, our strength of schedule is pretty good, we beat Ohio State on the road, travel to ND and Oregon, both of which look to be tough games in tough venues.

You're right though, I'm still not convinced that USC is a championship-caliber team, only time will tell
