Are we addicts?

Everyone in my family and close friends knows about this site. They are alway like: "Oh, Alex is on his Ford forums" or when they see me on my computer they always ask: "what are you doing, your forums again?"

I think I'm pretty active on here, but it might be turning into an addiction... HELP!! (not )

Addict?...I don't think so...maybe? On another forum (general chit-chat type place...with no real rules), I have over 30,000 posts, but I've been there for 4 years. I guess after a while, you do develop e-friendships. I don't have a MySpace or Facebook account...nor do I want one.

I'm probably a member of close to 10 different forums I've used over the years. I'm only currently active on 4. This place, a TX truck forum, a Harley forum and a traditional chopper/builder forum. My wife is addicted to myspace/facebook games, I have my forums. We just assume when we see one another on the computer what we are doing. She plays her "stupid nerd crap" and I look at the "same old stupid truck and bike crap".

When you go on F150Online instead of going out with your roommates, I suppose you can be considered an addict.

My wife and kids call it Truckspace. They come into the room and say oh you are on Truckspace again huh? They say how much can you possibly talk and read about F150s. I say you would be surprized, take a look. It is endless with the search! Eyes roll.

my EX girlfriend used to always say chit about me going on here. but theres no difference. she shopped and spent money on herself, and i go on my site, read things, and buy new stuff that i want. im on here a lot when im not working... just reading mostly. Everyone has their hobbies, and i dont see anything wrong with learning new things about yours. I didnt know anything about trucks until i came on this site a year ago. i love it

Yeah I am on here a lot... I love to read and this stuff is great. I hope this site stays around for a long time because I hope to be here for years and years. There is so much info... tuners, the lean condition that most people prolly don'y know about all this stuff we learn about... kinda like a secret society for Ford trucks/suvs
