Bama at BCS #2!!! Just keep winning!

Too bad for Bradford, I hope he doesn't hurt his NFL chances, on the other hand, this may show that he is not durable enough for the bigs.

I bet the Gator fans were sweating bullets, Florida is not as good as last year.

McElroy needs to get it goung the next two weeks against UT and LSU.

So far, an entertaining season.
Roll Tide!

I think who ever runs the BCS computer read this thread and decided to screw USC. Oh well, guess they don't need USC in the Championship game to make money after all

Do you Pac-10 guys still think there is no bias towards USC, even against other Pac-10 teams?

Oregon is #13 in the BCS, #14 in the AP, and #16 in the USA Today poll.

USC is #9 in the BCS, #11 in the AP, and #10 in the USA Today poll.

Both have the same record, with USC losing to Washington (3-6) and Oregon. Oregon has lost to Stanford (6-3) and Boise State (9-0).

How can you justify USC being ranked 4+ slots higher than Oregon?

I have no idea, I'm just glad it's swinging in our favor

I think that goes back to what I said earlier that late losses tend to hurt more. I mean, look at Ohio State, a team that USC beat. they're ahead of USC in the AP and that other poll, but behind in the BcS.

I'll agree with ya that the BcS system is completely up. Maybe USC just has better marketing than teams like Boise I can't believe that Boise actually hired a marketing firm to try to get a BCS bowl bid, that is outrageous and shouldn't be necessary if the system worked.

The more the BCS makes mistakes, the more push for a playoff system. Nobody is a real champ in the BCS...BSU doesn't stand a chance is the BCS, but could probably hold their own in a playoff system. If you lose early in the season, it's OK(according to the BCS), but if you lose late, you suck and don't deserve to be #1.

The early loss vs. late loss argument might work if the losses were more than 1 week apart, and if USC hadn't just gotten their *** handed to them by Oregon.

Do you think Boise is the only team that pays someone to hype their team in order to increase their standing?

Boise might not be the only team to use a marketing firm to increase their standings, but I saw an article on ESPN about it a week ago. Maybe they're the only team admitting to using a marketing firm. Either way, the BCS has got to change. I know it makes for "good" controversy and all that...
