Removing Ground bees

We built a big 4 car garage about 2 months ago. Well a big family of ground bees have made their home on the backside of our new garage. Before we can get the air unit in on the backside we want to remove the bees. Now I tried doing some research and all i saw was call a bee expert and they'll remove them or spread sevin in the entrance of the colony. But I read that the sevin is being disencouraged because it is harmful to other insects and can be harmful to humans. So my question is how have ya'll removed your bee problems in the past?

I had some in my back yard a few years ago. Scope out where their hole is, then wait until it gets dark and jam a garden hose in there. Then of course flood 'em with water.

Worked like a charm for me.

Make sure you take a video. I wanna see this.. LOL... Also before you do the water hose trick, make sure there isn't another entrance for them to come out of.. Believe it or not but bee's can see in the dark...

Ya...uh no! haha I'm not posting a video of a swarming hive of bees stinging me haha. Ya I've read to do this at night when they are in their colony. I'll try the water thing maybe tonight.

Buy a can of Ortho bee killer and when the sun goes down spray the whole can in the hole. I just did it about a week ago and now they're a thing of the past

The county out here uses Dawn and water. The Dawn dissolves the wax on their wings and they can't fly. Then it gets in their lungs and they suffocate. We have ground bees and killer bees here. Neither one is a pleasant experience but the Dawn and water works from a garden hose end sprayer. Put enough Dawn/water in the sprayer that when you spray it on concrete it foams- yer ready.

Ground bee removal : I just wait till night, very dark. Bring a funnel and about a quart of gas, stick the funnel in the entrance and pour the gas in.
this will kill the bees and the weeds in the area.

gasoline and a match.

put enough at the front of the nest so it leaves a decent flame. when the bees fly up they catch on fire. it is awesome.
