Car covers?

Hey Ya'll,

Well my brother is off at college and his Audi stayed at home. He wants me to find a car cover for it to protect it from the elements. The car will be stored outside all winter. I've never had to buy one for a car before so I'm not exactly what to look for. Any thoughts, ideas, advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Just make sure you get one that is breathable and is for out door storage. I got a custom fit on for my F150 a few years ago. It sits under the cover outside most of the time and has held up quite well. No mold or anything like that. I would also get one that has the plastic grommets on the bottom so it's easy to tie down the cover. I didn't tie mine down at first and it would constantly blow off.

Unless he plans on spending big bucks on a great car cover, I'd go without it. As long as somebody washes it semi-regularly (once a month, maybe), it'll do just fine.

I got a cover for my Wrangler from calcarcover.com. They have several different styles of covers to choose from.

Hey man, sorry for the late response. Below is the the cover I went with. Weather shield HD. I've had it for 2 years now and is well worth the price. It's well north of $250, however.
