Here we go again...global cooling

Jeez, just when you think ya got it figured out, they come up with more BS. Now scientist are saying that global warming is not the newest threat, global cooling is. I heard a guy talk about it this PM on talk radio and he said that the absence of sun spots is what triggered the last ice age and sun spots are decreasing now. I listened to a program out of England and the guy was concerned about global dimming. There isn't as much light getting to earth as there was 30 years ago and he claims that the sun is not as bright as it was. Is this our doom? Will we freeze to death in our carbon free cars? Who knows but here's some reading for you.

For what it's worth, Accuweather's Joe Bastardi told Glenn Beck last Tuesday that Russia's Vladimir Putin may have cut supplies of gas from the Ukraine to Europe because he believes the globe is about to go into a cooling phase, and controlling natural gas will give his country a great deal of added power on that continent.

Got a coat handy?

It still amazes me at how dumb some scientists are. The sun is on an 11 year weather cycle, so every 11 years its "winter" on the sun. Currently the sun is on its "winter" cycle. This means fewer sun spots on the sun, and also means milder temperatures here on earth, hence the "global cooling". If I remember correctly, the birth of the idea of "global warming" was 2002(ish), which is 6-7 years ago. Isnt it magical how that would be summer on the sun?

Well colder air means denser air, which in turn means more horsepower! I can dig it.

Do any of them not remember that the world has been through 6 or 7 ice ages. And mt st Helens did more damage to the earths atmosphere in one eruption than humans have ever done.
