Cash for clunkers

I couldn't believe it. I went to inquire about trading in my old '81 F-150 for that $4,500 bucks, but guess what? She is too old for the program. They don't take any vehicles older than 1984. That's OK. It just shows you how screwed up that program is, and I am glad that today is the last day for it. I love my old truck and wouldn't trade her anyway.

That shows the craziness of our gov't. You would think they would want to get the oldest off the road. Especially cars older than 25 years.

Then again, giving tax dollars and borrowed money from China out to Americans so they can go further in debt in the middle of a recession/depression is even worse !

Tea Parties are not going to solve this problem. How are we to go about selecting our next leader. I reality it will take a new grass roots effort...

I hope you're wrong. I hope that it's the people who participate in things like Tea Parties who can make a difference.

They say that history repeates it's self. Unfortunately, in the history of our country, people were divided not unlike they are today. There was a lot of blood shed before anyone came to an agreement. I'd rather see a different part of history repeat it's self. Maybe when there was resolve, and people put aside differences to form the United States of America.

Yes, I agree, C4C should have included older vehicles. It's really a moot point anyhow. It's over now. On to C4R.
