Tape measure alignment?

Anyone know if you can use a tape measure and level to adjust camber/caster after a leveling kit installation? I used to do tape measure alignments on Mustangs after lowering for years without tire wear.

How do you do a caster alignment with a tape measure? What's that called, a "Hillbilly alignment"?

You can get the tow in with a rigid measuring stick, but how would you get the chamber and caster right?

Camber/caster with the use of a straight edge level. I thought it was enough information to explain my question.

And the term is SHADETREE alignment on the west coast! "Hillbilly" where you live code58.

Since we both live in So. Cal. guess it's either "shade tree" or "hillbilly" for both of us. I've done a lot of alignments and I still don't understand how you do caster with a straight edge. Guess it's because I never did it that way.
