I've seen a lot of harley touring bikes with 30-50-75-100K without any major problems. Put 100K on a inline 4 bike let me know how much trouble you have had.

I think Harley's do okay overall.
Personaly I have a Honda valkyrie interstate, its a 01 model with 100,000 miles on it and I have had no problems at all, I have had the carbs synced once and I change the oil every 6000 miles. I really enjoy shutting up the local HD fanboys after they talk trash for about a month I will usually give them a chance to run them and I do enjoy the look on their face after I roast them badly.

not a bad bike., they are great if you wear pink dresses and high heals
