Anyway, that's an awesome monitor ! A few years ago I went from an old dinosuar 15" picture tube style, to a 19" Samsung LCD, and it was like going from a 72' Ford Pinto, to an 09' Mustang

But a 24" ! Holy %^%$ ! That's fat !

In case you weren't joking and just didn't know. It is the computer. I have one in my office that runs just my ftp site that hasn't been shut off now going on 3 years.

Widescreen FTW! I'm not a fan of the holy-buhjeezus $5,000,000 apples, but nice setup.

Congrats on the new computer but I just looked at the prices and those things are a complete ripoff.

I built my current computer which is much faster than even the top end version for about half of what the lowest model costs.

I think Apple's are fairly priced. I no longer have to sit for hours and hours downloading Microsoft's never-ending "Service Packs" and other fixes they should've had from the beginning. Not to mention, Apple's don't lock-up nearly as often.

That "Monitor" does indeed contain the entire computer.

And the DVD, CD, super drive, firewire 800, oodles of USB ports, wired and wireless ethernet connectivity.

Plus it all came with a free HP 4 in 1 printer, and a free 8GB G2 iTouch.

We also have a 4 year old Dell, a 2 year old HP, an 8 year old iMac, a new Macbook Pro and two very old Tandys and IBM's around the house. The computers of choice are the Macs. Four of us fight for them on a regular basis.
