Yeah, the last song is in spanish. I downloaded his new album Sunday.

I cant understand how and why some groups/duos/singers can just walk away from it all- Alabama, Garth Brooks and now Brooks and Dunn.

I heard that a couple of years ago they split up, but Reba McIntyre(sp?) got them to sit down and smoothed everything over. Guess it was only a matter of time since then. I agree with what alot of you are saying, alot of todays country is just pop music with generated songs simply for the $.

If they actually wrote their songs, it's too bad. If they were just another pretty voice singing someone else's work, so what. My biggest problem with country music is that hardly anybody popular writes their own music.

George Strait doesn't write his own songs but I'd still consider him one of the best country singers around.

Its a really good cd. I got to see him in concert a few months back when he opened for the Eli Young Band (also really good). I won tickets to the concert and Justin Moore wasnt originally scheduled to be there but he filled in for another singer that couldnt perform.

He spent the rest of the night walking thru the crowd drinking beer and posing for pictures with people.

There's A Ton Of Good Country Music Out There......

It's just that most of it isn't coming out of Nashville. Search the numerous threads posted around here on Texas Music and give those artist a try -- you won't be disappointed and you will be left wondering how many of these guys aren't household names......

As far as Brooks and Dunn are concerned, most of their music (while profitable) was pretty forgettable, although I will say I absolutely love the old Ranchero that appears in their "Hillbilly Deluxe" video......

I really like the Toyota in that video. Theres a cool 4x4 boat in Jason Aldean's Hick Town video too.
