The Most Important Image Ever Taken

Sorry if this is a repost--I searched and couldn't find anything. Some of you may have seen this, most of you probably not. I've seen this several times but was watching a special on the universe on History tonight and it made me watch this video again.

It's very humbling to watch and really puts into perspective just how small and insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. Thought some of you might enjoy this. When I watch it I tend to stress less about the smaller things in life.

I'd like to come back here in a couple hundred years to see what we have discovered out there. Very intriguing! Nice post.

No problem, guys. I enjoy this type of thing.

Johnny/Klitch--I agree. I wish we could know what's out there.

This could soo turn into a political squabble.

Good post though, space exploration and Defense should be the top two in the federal budget. It's just so sad America has lost its "cowboy" attitude in space travel and exploration. It dumbfounds me we haven't got anything setup on the moon yet.

Isn't the Hubble no longer being supported or worked on?
