I was in a cast for 6 weeks and kept on working as a Loss Prevention Officer at a few stores. Even made one of my larger arrests with that cast.

Now, other than a slight bump on the bone, you wouldn't even know anything had happened. I'm aiming to become a cop at some point, hopefully soon.
Been there man. Broke my last bone in my hand on the jon[EDIT: JOB ] several months ago.

Hardest hit that was taken was my financial state. I was cover by workers comp, but after all was said and done, my comp pay was maybe a 1/4 of my typical pay.

That was Febuary, was off for 3 months, and I'm still rushing to get back to the finacial 'safe zone' I was in before my accident.

But from the day I returned, I busted *** like I always have and feeling great, but have reminders to slow down, as on thursday I sliced open my arm and got 10 stitches. I was terrified it was going to be worse and I was going to be back at home sitting, but so far, it seems to be a standard gash, and I only lost a lot of blood and 2 hours work time.

I feel like the higher powers that be give you signs that you need to ease up- but I never listen.
