Beck is a nut job just like Scarborough or whatever his name is.

But I do think that Beck is a much smarter nut than Scarborough.

They could both be decent people in real life but remember, they must "entertain", otherwise they will loose their jobs.

I kind of figure these two guy's have a lot in common with my 2 year old son.

1) They both talk just cause it's fun.
2) If they don't know what to say or how to say it, they just make something up.
3) And, they more they talk, the more you realize is that all they want is some attention.
4) But, sometimes it's still fun to listen to them cause you just never know what they are going to say next!

You've got to have that mentallity when listening to them.

I see what he's doing, and I also see what the one sided Congress is doing. They are filling some of the role that private sectors should be filling, but they're doing it too fast and too much.

IMO, it seems like we are entering a new era of McCarthyism, where everything not conservative is considered communistic and evil.

I don't know if I should take you seriously from that post. So since we haven't had a true conservative like Reagan in the White house in 20 years, we've been soviet Russia. That's where your logic brings me.

 

You obviously don't understand the point of mccarthy's efforts, but only understand what the MSM (and the Democrats) have been saying about it for the past 55+ years. McCarthy was investigating, first and foremost, the influence of communism on the workings of our government. It is KNOWN that there were several staunch communists in the FDR white house, though they were not open about it at that time. McCarthy was right. And, for your edification, the "destroyed lives" (by HUAC, the House Unamerican Activities Commission - McCarthy was a Senator) were not destroyed at all. They merely went to France or Italy or England and made good livings there. I am reminded of an anecdote of Lincoln and his generals wherin Lincoln asked them "If you call a dog's tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have?" They replied "Five" Lincoln told them "No, just because you call it a leg doesn't make it a leg". So, just because you call it a Democrat doesn't make it a democrat (notice the capitalization, it means something). Todays Democrats at the national level - congressional leaders and DNC officers - are unquestionably very much socialists, believing that the state is able to do all, be all, and fix all and that the average citizen is no more than chattel to be used and abused to serve the purposes of government. Don't listen to what they say, watch what they do!!! Regulate, regulate, regulate, tax,tax,tax, give away, give away, give away!!!! And who pays for it? Not them, but us, the hard working, law-abiding , tax-paying citizens who act more like sheep hoping some day to get our slice of the government hand-out pie. Yes! Obama is a Communist. And if you look into his record and speeches you will find he is an America-hater and a racist, as well. I know not many of you will

I'm not sure if I should take you seriously now that you say that Obama is an America-hater and a racist, and that you are defending McCarthy for going on a political witch hunt for communists, most of which never existed.

 

Ah! But they did exist. Read up on it. It is a well-established fact. Of course, the deniers are still vocal about it, and that includes the MSM. Many contemporary historians are now beginning to suggest that maybe McCarthy didn't go far enough. Even FDR's Chief-of-Staff was a commie. Fact. Not opinion.
