Why would FoxNews have the most viewers when there is a majority of progressives in this country? Could it be that FoxNews isn't what people say that it is, a right wing shill? Maybe they appeal to average American people?
The way I see it, all the conservatives like to watch Fox, while liberals have a whole slew of liberal stations to choose from. If you add up the ratings for all the liberal channels, it dwarfs Fox, but since there are so many, they only get a slice of the general ratings.

Actually, if you add up MSNBC, CNN, and HLN's ratings, they just barely beat Fox News' ratings. Drudge posts the ratings once a week on his site.

Like Frank S says, look at the ratings. You don't have to go to Drudge if you somehow think that that site is right wing. Check out the numbers Nielsen comes up with.

Fox News isn't "dwarfed" and get's a bit more than a "slice".

Who watches? Maybe it's average Americans?

The media and our politicians, go to such extremes just to tip the scales, to make themselves look like they are actually doing something.. It all just ends up as a circus. Sometime I think maybe tabloid news is more important, because, no one really wants to work on solving the difficult problems

Glenn Beck sure does complain a lot. Does he ever discuss anything positive on his show? Was he like this when Bush was the top dog?

I'm in center field most of the time, it confuses people. Sometimes I think everyone goes to the extremes, and I just don't get it. There is always good and bad on both sides. I believe some people get so blinded by the Media, that they never look at the other side of the situation at hand. You caught me a little off guard.

Yes, Beck does complain a lot. You think he's being unreasonable?

He does discuss positive things. Things like supporting our troops. Things like appreciating family. Things like the principals and values that this country was founded upon.

He was also critical of Bush. Even more people thought he was a nut job then. More have listened to him and learned about what's going on. More people see what is happening to our government, and that it isn't in our best interest. Hopefully enough people will listen and hear, not just someone complaining, but the reason he is doing so.

Paul Revere didn't just wake up one night and decide to hop on his horse to ride through town yelling to the people that the British were coming.

It's not the British this time.

He's not being unreasonable about the things that are going on, he's telling it the way it is, but I think he's inserting his own opinions in too often. I know the **** is hitting the fan in DC, but he makes our current president out to be an anti American who came straight out of communist Russia circa 1950.

this would not be an unfair assessment of BHO, barring the 1950 part.
After all, when has there ever been a POTUS with this extreme an agenda in our history? george w. bush, you say? nonsense! when he took office he had no agenda. the events of 9/11 forced him to develop one, and admittedly part of it was on the right politically; however, some of it was leftist as well - border control, immigration (legal & illegal) and his treatment of Israel. You have to look across the globe and through history to find a parallel to BHO, men like Mao, Castro, Stalin, Mugabe, Mandela, Putin - all men who were blatant communists. comparisons of obama to them are inevitable due to their haste, direction and denial of basic economic and political paradigms. add to that his total disdain for the provisions of the constitution of the united states and the bill of rights. then look at his associations, radicals each and every one. no sir, there has never been, and hopefully never will be again, a more unsuited and anti-american occupant in the white house. read his books! he stated that if there were to be a war between america and the muslims, he would side with the muslims. now look at his first 100 days. see him siding with the muslims? if not, you willfully are ignorant. but at leaste you are happy. Cicero once said "to be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child." remember, ignorance is bliss, so be as happy as you wish. but don't pretend lecture adults on matters
you haven't soiled your tender little self to learn about and understand.
