Lots of horsepower in a car that can't handle its way out of a paper bag, in factory form anyway. I'm a Mustang fanatic too–owned two of them.

I'd still take the GT-by far.

 

Great car... What I find funny is the video cut off both times right before th viper was going to spank the cobra behind. LOL If you look at the video you could see the viper gaining on the cobra.. I thought he would of left the camera on to watch the Viper fly on by...

I think the GT weighs more than the Cobra, couple with the fact that he had 56 horsepower more sealed the deal.

 

The way the Cobra walked the GT, I'm guessing it had more than a 56 hp advantage on the road that day.

Peak HP is only one point on the power graph, too. That Cobra looked like it had substantially more power than the GT throughout the rpm range.

Could be other factors like driver, gearing, the GT was de-tuned form its dyno run, etc...but anyway you slice it, that Cobra is ferocious.
