Considering I get an extra $550 a month it's technically not my money. I have always liked the Tahoe's. I'll take the F150 over the Silverado any day!!!!

I did talk her into looking at Expys though, looking at limited though because it has to be all white.

 

Wow, that's pretty messed up,,having to supply your own car as a law enforcement officer. I thought the only one's that still did this was Hawaii.

Even our SRO's get company take home cars. SRO's do have it made when it comes to schedule, weekends/holiday's off. But, dealing w/administration and the punk kids???? You can have it, I'll take the street and the bs calls I get.

 

Ours is not that bad. We are not in any way tied to the ISD other than the contract they have with the county. I do not report to anyone at the school, my line of command is through my county supervisors only. I'm lucky to be at a good school with administrators that are easy to work with but it's very kick back.

If someone leaves campus....I'm not going after them because it's not against the law and the ISD I work for has truancy officers.

I am there for criminal enforcement only and the administrators understand that so it's not that bad.

I'm going to look at an '05 Tahoe Z-71 tomorrow. Expy's just didn't work out for me. I don't like the older interiors and the '07 and up are too expensive. I'm way upside down on my truck so this whole deal is really screwing me. I planned on driving Betsy till the wheels fell off but I guess that isn't happening.

I wish I could afford a SRT-8. It would permanently have a light bar on it too, so that's not so cool when I am off duty. That's why I don't want to do a charger.
