I own a 2007 Pete 386 and I run 48 states... Currently sitting in Findlay, OH with no load.. I'm based out of CA. Anyone else out there drive truck?

Nice looking Pete!

My dad drives truck. Hauls grain locally and hauls cattle. Usually to Green Bay and occasionally Omaha.

I drive in the fall during harvest. We usually make two or three trips to Montana to bring back cattle.

We have five Pete 379's ('97, '01, '02, '03, '05).

Some day I need to line them all up and get some pictures.

nice rigs!! im only 17 but i enjoy traveling the interstate at night with the truckers. they are the only ones who can drive right and are courteous!

I'm a Freightliner fan but I love how some of the new Volvo's have HIDs. i think thats one thing truckers need the most!

I'm a truck driver, 1.5 yrs now. I drive Freightliner Columbia's and Volvo's mostly. I do day runs 99% of the time, freight for the big 3. Driving trucks is teaching me to hate dispatchers and shippers, but mostly customs officers and long wait times. It drives me nuts. I still would like to own a 379 Pete or KW 900L either with mid rising sleepers, those are my style.

Although I have a Class 1 (CDL) license I don't drive them, I just work on them. Here's a couple of 389's we rigged out for one of our customers. Just finished a third one this month but didn't get pics of it. It's identical to the second one except we didn't add the extra lights on the cab and whale tail and didn't add a train horn.

That's a short wheelbase that's for sure... Usually down here 379/389's are at least 260"+... What is the owner going to be hauling?

I had to take another look at that picture. I didn't even notice how short the wheelbase was the first time.

On two of our trucks we took the bunks off, shortened the frames and put wet kits on them. The frames on those two trucks look about the same length as the one in the pics here and they are day cabs.

I love the Columbias! At night I love seeing those trucks decked out with thousands of LEDs. Ive got into some convos over the CB and a few of them think my little 4-wheeler is nicely lit-up too!

Seems most do in one way or another, My boss has 9 trucks and is my broker. He use to have 2 KW's but got rid of them, idiot drivers wrecked them. I've screwed up a few trailers, but always take care of the tractor. Just blew my first tire the other day, thank God it was a rear.
