I guess for those 10 races they both sucked mightily.
why cant jr call himself a race winner? has he not won 18 races in his career? is it because he hasn't won this year? neither has edwards, the bif, harvick, burton, hamlin, newman, montoya or bowyer to name a few. i guess those guys suck too...
18 wins in 9.5 full seasons sucks. He had one flash-in-the-pan year. He's turned it around just a smidge the last few races with McGrew atop the box. We'll see how he does when he gets a new crew chief.

If we're saying not winning races equals sucking then yes the guys you mentioned suck to. I was referring to being a mediocre driver for your whole career and riding on a name.

I wouldn't say they suck, but I would say that they all should go find what's missing, that would make them win.. In nascar it's all about handling of the car.. If you can't get the car to handle well then you not going to be up front or win..

Some teams have an advantage when they run more than 1 car.. I don't think people have an image that JR. should be like his father... They just hear the name and everybody thinks he should just win.. HE's a decent driver but he lost something a couple of years ago and I think he is having a hard time finding it..

As for kyle winning 200 races.. Anything can happen.. So I wouldn't count my egg before they hatch.. Look at gordon, he's thinking about retirement due to back issue's.. He has MANY years to go before I thought he would have called it quits... GOD FORBID, all it takes is one accident...

I just think Kyle is a ****y POS. He is a good driver but he has a lot of growing up to do...

James

One a totally separate note, this just in, Harvick wants out of RCR. Doesnt' suprise me, they've been sucking the last several years.

i disagree. i bet there are alot of drivers in NASCAR right now who would gladly take that stat as there own. look what one win can do for your career as far as oppurtunites and sponsors. (jamie mcmurray and truex jr, just as an example)

as for rcr, its a shame they have gone downhill. i like bowyer and harvick. imo bowyer got the shaft when mears came over.

rick hendrick sure is finding a way to get around the 4 car rule. they were saying brad keselowski might be going to SHR as the 3rd car a week or so ago but harvick and his shell/penzoil sponsorship would be the better business decision for SHR imo. its all about getting the money for your team in nascar. hell smoke might even have 4 cars next year, lol. i guess we will see....

I'm sure alot of drivers would. My point is he's finished outside the top 10 in points in 6 out of the 10 years he's been driving (I'm including this 10th year because there's no chance of that happening).

I don't like Hendrick, so let's get that out of the way. How's he finding a way around the 4 car rule? SHR is a seperate team. Sure they buy motors and chassis from them, but that's just a business decision. Who else would you go to to buy motors and/or chassis in Chevy form? Abolutely noone else. Because Roush sells a motor to some rickety team that has a Ford logo on the hood does that make them a Roush car? No.

I'd much rather see Harvick than Keselowski at SHR next year.

"satellite teams" are how guys like hendrick and roush will/are getting around the 4 car rule. smoke is getting more than just engines/chassis from hendrick. i read a while ago that hes getting technical and engineering support as well.

where is the line exactly to constitute seperate teams anymore? i guess this is part of the "new" nascar.

i read on jayskis a while ago that jamie mac is supposed to be going to yates (a roush "satellite team") next season along with his crown royal sponsorship.

And? He has until the end of the year to run 5 teams.

The are seperate teams. There's nothing against the rules saying they can't get engineering support, buy parts, etc.

Didnt say it was against the rules. But are they really a seperate team (in the true sense of the word) if Hendrick is doing 75% of the work? Or is having a "satellite team" like SHR just a way for super teams like Hendrick Motorsports to get around the enforcement of the upcoming 4 car rule?
