Can you believe the discounts offered right now on 09 f150s? I built one on line and with the employee pricing and delivery allowance the discount is $11400.00. I was looking at an explorer but the f150 looks too good. Appears to be on the Canadian website only.

 

Yeah -- the flipside to that on the '09's right now is availability. You can't order one any longer, and (at least down here in Houston) the pickings are getting pretty slim on the dealer lots. I was out looking at trucks over the 4th and one major dealer I went to said he normally had 300 trucks on hand at any one time -- but when I was there he only had 31 F-150's and that was it!

I ended up buying a new daily driver Ranger this weekend and spent several days on the internet last week searching dealer inventories from Brownsville, TX, to St. Louis, MO, looking for a truck that was set-up the way I wanted it -- all to no avail. I ended up traveling over to Lafeyette, LA, to get my truck and had to make concessions on how I would have liked the vehicle to be set-up....

 

I am failing to see a discount anywhere close to that online from the "Build and Price" at fordvehicles.com. What am I missing?

Wish I lived closer to TX. No one around me is that close on $11k off. Maybe they are, and I don't know.
