The kid doesn't deserve a truck; he swings a bat like a sissy.

You think with that 6500, that hummer, and that Challenger, they could afford to send him to Baseball Camp.

After seeing the fols' stable of vehicles, I was wondering if it was staged---though I have known a few students whose parents have tons of money who drive much nicer cars than faculty members...in some cities, the line is,

"How can you tell the difference between the student parking lot and the faculty lot?"

"The students' cars are nicer."

If you drove those three vehicles that I saw in the driveway and garage, why buy the kid a POS?

well maybe they are a few of the people who actually worked for their money and still believe in teaching it into their kids

but it does seem to be staged

i think the truck was a joke because of the spray bomb and what not but his reaction i think is real. if i had that kind of money i wouldnt buy my kid a nice car.

Yep, I think it was a joke---but the rich kids that I have had as students generally either

A) know the value of a buck and have worked for their stuff---daddy doesn't give it to them, or
B) Get everything handed to them and don't have to work a minute...they are the ones that wreck their vehicles repatedly and have daddy get them another (usually better)

Common sense would say, "Hell, I worked hard for my money and busted my rear end to get to where I am, I want my kids to do the same"...but some people don't have that common sense.
