wife is getting restationed to aviano air base in italy. we leave no later than march and we're there for 2 years. can anyone give me some tips or what to expect? it's kinda looking like the boss is staying here because of the roads and drivers. first hand help would be awesome. thanks guys.

 

Dont get fat. An ex came back post-6 months there, gained some weight. Although, I cant say I havent done the same with beer

From my niece that spent 4 years there, find something that causes nasal congestion. Apparently the smell of sweat on a man and a woman is considered sexy. She says the Italians are just plain rank. Women do not shave their legs or arm pits and it's considered sexy too. Also, watch driving in the mountains. The trucks are noted for no brakes and if yer in the way.....oh well. She says it's pretty country but she wouldn't go back mostly because of the people.
