This may seem off the wall, but did you recently register at a firearms board and receive a less than stellar welcome?

A buddy and myself got into a game of keep'n up with the Jones' a few years back. My 16HP Ariens now has chrome stack, chrome air cleaner, chrome coil, yellow Accel plug wire, chrome lug nuts on the rear, chrome grill guard, ag tire on the rear, front tires are ag tires off a big snowblower, and to top it all off I got chrome curb feelers on the snowplow. I was looking for polished aluminum wheels for it when his blew up and he sold it. Game over!!! I win !!!

I was either going to have to fix it or just cut the grass myself. So, I got out my toolbox grabbed the hammer and threatened my wife a daughter with it till my wife put my daughter on her lap. Now, they mow the grass together (and I didn't even have to get out the big hammer).

WHAT...... ......... Raoul you missed the obvious ...

When i had cows i would stake one out front to keep the grass down. Never
had to cut no grass. Now i a city slicker and some one else cuts grass.

I like the idea of putting bigger lights on. My little (17hp) craftsman doesn't light up much. Fortunately I don't use it at night or almost dark because the skeeters will eat you alive here.

I always thought if everything went to hell and gas became tough to come by, that a regeared rider would make decent local transportation. Put the lawn cart behind it and it'll pull 3 people.

They aren't kidding around with the Garden tractor pullers, single cylinder engines making 80 plus HP, and homeade singles with superchargers, making probably close to or maybe even over 200hp.

I got into this on a lower scale when my father was living, he really enjoyed it, I went to win, he didn't care if he got 1st or 41st.

Regrind a cam 125.00, 40.00 for a valve, 400.00 + for a steel crank, 300.00 in a piston and a rod. It would be cheaper to build a SB than one of these things, but not as impressive. If you ever have a chance to go and see them pull, take the time to do it. You won't be disappointed.

Ours were supposed to be stock, but as anyone that plays with anything withw motor on it knows. If you show up with it stock like the rules say, you might as well leave it on the trailer, and sit in the stands.

Check this link out if you are interested in some of this type of stuff.
