If you want a smart phone get an IPhone. It is worth every penny. The best part about it is it uses apple software and isnt windows based. Windows sucks and always locks up.

Blackberry has their own OS as well as does Palm I believe. I was just looking for a new phone myself. My Tilt started to act up. After going to the ATT store and looking at everything they had I decided the best physical fit for my hand was the BB Bold. EVen with my big fingers I can type on it with ease which is something I've always struggles with on other phones. This is so far the best phone I've owned yet. It was between this and the Nokia E71X that Patman showed. The BB just was easier for me but I loved my Nokias that I've had. Very durable phones. I have a family plan with one other line so my half of the bill comes out to $85 a month with unlimited data and unlimited text messages.

Windows Mobile isn't too bad. I had the newer version on my Tilt. I absolutely loved threaded text messaging. It's really the only thing I miss about my Tilt.

my windows mobile BlacjacK II was the worst phone i ever had.. it lasted 2 months... every day or so it had to be rebooted or the internet would not work... I NEVER reboot my phones, they stay on all the time, and every time i needed interent, i had to wait the 2 minutes to restart it... it took forever.... called AT&T and they said it was a windows problem, no fix to it...

screw that... i got a samsung insite... all touch screen, small, and i love it.

I got the G1, while not the smallest, it is flawless, I have not had one single issue with it at all, quite literally too.

the razr.... lol

so i decided vzw sucks at picking out phones to carry and when they do pick decent ones they choose a retarded contract that requires you to get a data package... with that said, the chocolate 3 looks alright. so does the motorola krave, except motorola is stupid difficult for me to retrieve pics.

After owning the Razr, I will never own another Motorola phone again. I had to have it replaced 3 times in a matter of months. I gave up with sending it back and just bought a new phone.

Any PDA phone is going to require a data package.

since 09 has started i had the original LG Voyager but then it get stolen then I got the enV 2 but I didn't like it so then I got the Samsung Glyde but it didn't really like it so now I have the LG Voyager Titanium pretty soon I'll have the LG enV Touch

out of all those phones I say the Voyager was the best... the Samsung Glyde the screen was to small so it was hard to touch the icons, and the enV well I don't like when the phone is closed because of the screen being so small on the outside

The reason you have a hard time getting pics and stuff off your Motorola is not the phone - it's Verizon's crippled firmware. I have an original Razr, it's over 3 years old, and I can pull everything off it with a standard Bluetooth adapter and NO additional software. It's AT&T. I have had NO problems with it, it's on the 2nd battery and 3rd SIM. That said, I understand that since the original Razr, Motorola quality has gone down the toilet.

I LOVE my Sprint V950. It's got a decent amount of features, 3g, etc. but it's also military spec with that rubber coating around it and waterproof-ish (I can talk on it while it's raining like hell outside, never actually dropped it in water though)

edit: it's pretty much a rubber, solid razr, but not nearly so ****ty in build quality. I have a habit of keeping my phone in my lap, and then jumping down and out of my truck whenever I get out, so it pretty much falls from a few feet up several times a day on a regular basis, and it's hardly even scratched.
