I hate thieves
I hate thieves
last week someone got into my truck and stole $5 in change, my canon camera($350 camera) and some blank counter bank deposit slips(don't know what they thought they were getting with those..doesn't have my bank info on it.)
Pisses me off that they got my camera and it happened two nights before i flew out to Arizona for a week. I worked damn hard for that camera and now some POS has it and probably sold it for drugs or easy money.
kind of my fault for leaving my doors unlocked but not really...shouldn't have to live in a world where you can't leave your guard down for one second but oh well...that's what we've come to. This town is getting crappier and crappier by the day, more and more trash is moving in. It's definitely no longer the town i grew up in where you didn't have to worry about locking your doors.
I reported it to the cops and they said they've been getting at least 15 break ins a week within the past couple months.
someone got into my brothers car about a month ago and took his girlfriends wallet which had all of her info and some of his in it but luckily the police found it and they got it back.
I'm sick of the scum in this world who steals from others because they are too lazy to work.
Makes me very tempted to chain my pit bull out in the driveway and let him rip them a new one

It's never your fault...dont let the sick world make you think sick too. Blaming ourselves just gives thieves more reasons to justify their actions and take no responsibility....eventually it's just your fault for having more than them...
I remember years ago we never locked the front or back doors and a couple of times even went out of town for weeks with the doors unlocked and never had a problem. Never used to lock the cars either.
Times have changed because peoples perceptions have changed.
Stealing is still stealing and I hate thieves too....

I feel your pain man. I've had this type of bull**** happen to me allot here lately. I live in an apartment complex because I move about every three years for my job. Regardless of the area I move to I always have something happen. Just the other night I walk out onto my balcony to find two guys with a flash light looking around my truck. I grab my 45. and head for the door and confront them, they gave some lame excuse and because nothing was damaged I escorted them off the property. This past Christmas on Christmas Eve someone came by my apartment and destroyed all of my decorations...WTF! I live on the 4th floor and I know all my neighbors. I was parked near a construction site last year and some idiot hit the rear end of my truck with a freaking tractor...no note was left on my windshield. The only way I found out was one of his co-workers was watching out for me and when I went out to my truck he came over and explained what happened. A mistake I can understand but pure negligence I can't. It took all I had not to yank that moron off that tractor and beat the living s**t out of him. I left my rear window open once at the mall and came out to find some kids trying to get in and get my Ipod and GPS. I actually called the cops on that one as they had a station less than 1/2 mile down the road. These are just some of the recent situations I've dealt with. My town is suppose to be a friendly neighborhood but it's more like a neighbor-HOOD. My thought is if you don't have a concealed weapons permit get one. You never know when you'll catch one of these idiots in the act! Good luck in the future and I'm sorry to hear about that.
It is the same over here. I blame the "Non-Justice System". Even if by some miracle they get caught the bleeding heart judges let them go with a slap on the wrist to commit the same crimes over and over again. I guess it is not there sh*t getting stolen so they don't care.
Just the other day we had two women jump out of their car (probably stolen) and beat the crap out of a 92 year old lady in a mall parking lot so they could steal her purse. The grandmother is in the hospital in bad shape last I heard. These two women have not been caught. This is what the world has come to and no one seems to be doing anything to stop it.

Two weeks ago, a friend of mine, {also is a local business man} office was broken into by a former employee. The employee was fired for not doing his calls{pest control} He broke into the office and took a few things, including some payroll checks. A week went by and a payroll check was cashed in the persons name.
The business man called and reported it to the police. nothing ever happened. So the next week he happened to see the person going into the bank , and he called the teller to find out if check was being drawn on his account. It indeed was. He then called the Police, but our town is very short staffed and they couldn't immediately get a patrolman there. So he waited outside the bank for the individual, and restrained him in hope the police would soon be there. Someone else saw the commotion and called in a fight on the bank parking lot. Then the police were there in 2 minutes flat. sirens and all.
While I'm not bashing the police, because they are stretched extremely thin here. It took the intervention of the victim to get results and his money back.
But in the opinion of the law enforcement here, Crystal meth is the cause of almost every crime reported in our county. \IMO/ That stuff is a plague that is ruining our Country period. It crosses all social, race and gender boundaries.
The current plan to stop it, is another percent sales tax for a jail being built here. I think it is to have about 300 or more beds when completed. The only hope we have seems to be to get these people off the streets long enough to get them clean, to the point they will stay that way. But the meth problem out weighs the Crack and alcohol problem by leaps and bounds.
