Question MPGs?

Do not worry, I am getting rid of my truck. I would only sell it for another.

I am planning on purchasing some land in the country to build a house. Currently, I have the truck and the other half just rides with me. She was thinking about buying an Escape but now thinks that a 2DR Grand Am would be better on gas with the 50KM commute.

Do any of you know what the realistic MPG would be? I know that I could go the the "gm" message boards but I think you guys would more honest with me.

Please research the Grand Am a little, you wont be buying one if you look at its reliability and resale.

The Grand Am's look nice and drive nice, escpecially the GTP. But like DarnEFNET said, check out their reliability.

Also stay away from the Escape. I looked at them and they are for lack of better word cheesy. They don't seem sturdy or well built, more like a SUV w/ the Focus quality if you ever been in one. Also the top of the line Escape is only a few grand less then a Explorer Sport which are just nicer.
