trying to find an f-150

I'm looking for the closest thing to a lightning (appearance and power) regular cab, stepside etc. and i prefer the year 2003.

Can anyone give me a shout at what my option is?

hahaha.

pretty much everything you said in the OP. i think the interior is closest to a lariat and you'll need a 5.4

Is there a reason that you do not want to just buy an L? You'll need a Lariat and a 5.4. I have only ever seen one Lariat, short box regular cab. It belongs to Raoul, and I'm not sure if it is even a 5.4.

I would say either expand your appearance criteria or get an L bro. Can't blame ya though, Ls are sick, and expensive.

^^^That is an XL, so cloth interior and most likely a 4.6. Your right, good look alike, but wont have anything close to the power (either would a normally aspriated 5.4).

^^^ I guess he want's a stepside, with a lightning body kit

even if he gets one with a 5.4 it'll still need some boost but most likely he'll end up with a 4.6

haha well I'm not trying to find a lightning look alike I'm looking for the next step down pretty much. I wouldn't put a body kit on or anything I just want an F-150 for now while i make enough money for an L one day.

Ooooooooooh gotcha. I thought you wanted to take a non SVT truck and make it exactly like a Lightning... only without the motor. Then in that case, I say good luck to you sir. The reg cabs are a rare species, especially with the 5.4. It'd be easier to find a Lightning...

Yeah your right getting a lightning would be easier but getting the money would be hard and a long process. My ranger is rusting out so I want a new F150. Why is it reg cab/stepside are so rare? Stepsides are sooo nice.

There's plenty of regular cab flaresides around here in that body style, but most of them are V6's. Which there's nothing wrong with that V6 unless you just specifically want a V8.
