I love my 4x4 regular cab short bed fleetside bed with the 5.4. I haven't seen any in my area mostly the v6's some 4.6's but not many.

My dream truck has been a 97-03 Scab stepside with a 4.6l v8 4x4 5 speed manual.

Yep, I love my 5.4 Single cab. I don't have a stepside, but didn't want one since it cuts out room. Just be patient, they are out there. Took me 2-3 months to find mine, but all I wanted was a single cab, 5.4, 4x4.

In the mean time, head over to the 97-03 section, and look at the thread "Single cabs". Some nice trucks in there.
