Post CRASH RATINGS

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS! I hope my insurance agent doesn't raise my rates because of this. I thought these trucks were one of the best.

Yeah, but the end of the article on Reuters goes a bit farther and states this!!! Truly amazing, isn't it?

The results are the reverse of rankings from frontal crash tests performed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (news - web sites). In those tests, the F-150 earned the highest ratings of the four trucks, with four out of five stars for driver protection and five stars for passenger protection. The Tundra rated the lowest, earning three stars in both tests.

NHTSA's tests measure protection in full frontal crashes at 35 mph.

In other words HIT 'EM STRAIGHT ON!

Unhappy

I couldn't believe it when I seen the report on CNN today as most of the time FORDS do very well and its the GM cars that do so poor it just more bad press for FORD they've been getting to much of that lately.

Didn't it say the Ford had a faulty airbag, which would have changed the results quite a bit. I'm surprised they would not fix the bag and redo the test.

I am going to move this to the "Safety" forum where it belongs. We don't need this discussion going on in a dozen different forums. Thanks!
