Check out this beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Dad bought a 67' camero RS new. Red with a black bumble bee stripe. It had the 327 in it.
Wished he would of saved it for me.....

With the 502, I'm sure that is a beast in a straight line, when it hooks.
Not sure about the handling with a big block, skinny fronts and cut up sheet metal.
On a similar note, a friend of my dad's crammed a tunnel port 427 Ford into a '65 Mustang back in the day. Guess it did not run much, but when it did, it was a beast.
I like my pony cars to turn and stop, So for street driving, a hot small block, good tires and suspension upgrades are the ticket, IMO. But for the occasional trip to the strip, that big block would be a blast.
FWIW, when I was in high school, an older guy down the street had a 70.5 Z-28 with the original LT-1 350 motor and 4 speed. It was lime green with the white stripes. Had headers and exhaust, and it was fast.
